Starting 6th September, four Day 1s will play across two days, offering you plenty of chances to advance to Day 2 of the Main Event.

When?

The imperious INEC complex in the heart of Killarney will host all the action.

There will be four Day 1s:

  • Day 1A – Thursday 6th September (12:00 GMT)
  • Day 1B – Thursday 6th September (17:00 GMT)
  • Day 1C – Friday 7th September (12:00 GMT)
  • Day 1D – Friday 7th September (17:00 GMT)

Players who progress from any of the Day 1s will enter the next stage of the tournament. If a player progresses through multiple Day 1s, only there biggest stack will be brought forward.

  • Day 2 – Saturday 8th September (12:00 GMT)
  • Day 3 – Sunday 9th September (Final Day)

Getting there

By Air

Killarney is approximately 16 miles from Kerry Airport (KIR). There are direct flights available from Dublin with Aer Lingus, or from London with Ryanair. Alternatively, you can fly to Cork Airport (50 miles way) or Shannon Airport (80 miles away). Transfer by car takes around 30 minutes and taxis are available from the airport and cost approximately €25. Alternatively, you could get a bus from the Airport to the Bus Station in central Killarney which is about 2km from the INEC.

By Train

Killarney Train Station is just 2km from the INEC. If you are staying at the Gleneagle Hotel, a complimentary shuttle bus facility from Killarney Train Station is available. The free shuttle bus meets every train from Dublin up to 5pm daily.

By Car

Killarney Bus Station is just 2km away from the INEC. Bus Ireann run a countrywide service to Killarney. If you are staying at the Gleneagle Hotel, a complimentary shuttle bus facility from the nearby Killarney Train Station is available. The free shuttle bus meets every train from Dublin up to 5pm daily. The INEC is located on the N71 (Muckcross Road) and is adjacent to the Gleneagle & Brehon hotels.
